We get a lot of customers asking about greener alternatives for the everyday bits of dog ownership, and poo bags are one of the easiest places to start. These compostable dog poo bags do the job just as well as a standard plastic bag, they’re a similar thickness and just as leak resistant, but without the same lasting environmental footprint. They’re a good option whether you’re doing a quick trip round the block or a longer walk where you’ll need a few bags on hand.
Swapping to compostable dog poo bags is one of those small changes that adds up, especially if you’re already making other eco conscious choices for your dog’s food and treats. Pop a roll in your coat pocket, clip one to the lead, or keep a stash by the door, however you like to be organised on walks. They’re just as easy to tear off and use one handed as a standard bag, so there’s no learning curve involved, you simply get the same job done with a lighter environmental footprint.
A lot of our customers tell us they didn’t realise how easy it was to make this particular swap until they tried it, plastic free poo bags used to mean a compromise on strength or price, and that’s just not the case anymore.
