Description
New to the shop, and one we’re genuinely excited about: Fish D’light’s dried mussels for dogs. These are whole mussels, gently dried to preserve all the natural goodness, with nothing added and nothing taken away. If you’re after a treat that’s as close to nature as it gets, this is a lovely one to try.
Â
Mussels are naturally rich in protein and packed with omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, the same oils that support healthy skin, a glossy coat, and general joint comfort. As dried mussels for dogs go, they’re also low odour compared to a lot of fish based treats, so they’re a nice option if you’d rather not have a fishy smell following you round the kitchen.
Â
Why dried mussels for dogs are worth adding to the treat pot:
Â
- Single ingredient, naturally dried with nothing artificial added
- Rich in protein and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids for skin, coat and joints
- A great option for dogs who need variety away from meat based treats
- Low odour compared to many fish treats, easier to store and carry
Â
Dried mussels for dogs make a great everyday treat or training reward, but as with any natural chew, always supervise your dog while they’re eating and keep fresh water available. They’re intended to complement a balanced diet, not replace a meal, and if your dog has any allergies or health conditions it’s worth a word with your vet before starting something new.
Â
We’re proud to be bringing Fish D’light’s dried mussels for dogs into the range, alongside the rest of our natural treats. Have a browse of what else is on offer over on the BTB Dog Supplies shop page and check out our blog on mussels
