Description
Tripe and rabbit dog food leads with tripe here, at 70% of the whole mix. The rest is made up of 20% rabbit with bone and 10% rabbit offal. Crude protein sits around 15.7%. Moisture runs close to 65%. Those figures put this firmly in complete-meal territory, rather than a lean topper.
Â
Rabbit is the part worth noting if your dog needs a genuine change of protein. It rarely appears in supermarket food, or in most everyday raw ranges either. That makes it useful for a sensitivity trial. It also helps for simply widening a raw rotation beyond chicken and beef. Tripe alongside it does the heavy lifting on flavour. It’s one of the ingredients raw feeders rate most highly for winning over a reluctant eater. Even fussier dogs who normally pick around their bowl tend to respond well to it.

- Tripe’s strong natural appeal helps with fussier eaters

Â
Keep this mince frozen until ready to feed, then defrost fully in a sealed container away from other food. Wash hands, bowls and surfaces thoroughly afterwards, and feed under supervision at 2 to 3% of body weight for adults over 12 months. Always make sure fresh water is available too.
Â
Because rabbit is still uncommon on the shelf, introduce this tripe and rabbit dog food gradually. Do it alongside a food your dog already knows well. Our raw food range has more novel proteins worth exploring once this one settles in. So there is always something new to try next.
