Millies Wolfheart’s Duck and Veg is a duck dog food built on a straightforward 50/50 recipe: half duck, half vegetables, fruit, herbs and botanicals. Freshly prepared and dried duck lead the way, giving a rich, distinctive protein that works well for dogs who need a change from more common proteins like chicken or beef, or who simply enjoy a bit of variety at mealtimes now and then.
This duck dog food is grain free, with no gluten, rice, chicken, eggs, beet pulp, additives or synthetic preservatives, and it includes a joint support pack with glucosamine and chondroitin. At 23% crude protein and 12% fat, it sits comfortably in the middle of the range, suiting most adult dogs rather than being aimed specifically at high energy working dogs, though it’s still a satisfying, filling meal that most dogs take to quickly and happily.
