Millies Wolfheart’s Lamb and Veg is a lamb dog food built on a simple 50/50 recipe: half lamb, half vegetables, fruit, herbs and botanicals. Freshly prepared and dried lamb lead the way, with lamb fat and lamb gravy added too, giving a rich, satisfying meal that most dogs take to straight away, even fussier eaters who normally turn their nose up at a new bag of food they haven’t tried before.
This lamb dog food is grain free, with no gluten, rice, chicken, eggs, beet pulp, additives or synthetic preservatives, and it includes a joint support pack with glucosamine and chondroitin. At 19% crude protein and 16% fat, it’s a slightly richer recipe than some of the leaner options in the range, so it’s worth keeping an eye on portion sizes for dogs prone to putting on weight, particularly less active or older dogs who don’t burn off as many calories.
