Millies Wolfheart’s Utility Mix is a fish dog food built around white fish and herring, with salmon oil and salmon gravy added for good measure. It’s a 50/50 recipe: half fish, half vegetables, fruit, herbs and botanicals, making it one of the higher protein options in the range at 27% crude protein.
This fish dog food is grain free, with no gluten, rice, chicken, eggs, beet pulp, additives or synthetic preservatives, and it includes a joint support pack alongside a wide range of herbs and botanicals, from burdock root and camomile to dandelion and peppermint. Fish based diets are popular with owners looking for a natural source of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, thanks to the combination of white fish, herring and salmon oil, and they’re often a good choice for dogs who don’t do well on richer meat based recipes.
